Pain in this life is not avoidable, but the pain we create avoiding pain is avoidable.

About Me:
Pronouns: She/Her/HersI’m a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Washington, DC, offering therapy for adults who feel overwhelmed, stuck in unhelpful habits and behaviors, or disconnected from themselves and others.
I have been in private practice since 2018. My experience as a first-generation immigrant has shaped how I understand people: how we navigate life’s challenges, build resilience, and create meaningful change.
I work with many people who are first-generation, immigrants, or who grew up moving between cultures, languages, or identities.
There’s often a quiet sense of not fully belonging, along with expectations, responsibilities, or emotional weight that others don’t always see or recognize.
Therapy with me is a space to slow down and begin to understand what’s underneath the surface. Together, we explore patterns in your relationships, emotions, and inner world, so you can feel more grounded, more connected, and more like yourself.
My approach is psychodynamic and relational, which means we look at how your past experiences shape your present, especially in the way you relate to others and to yourself. I also integrate practical tools from CBT, mindfulness, and somatic awareness when helpful - but always in a way that feels natural and tailored to you.
I offer a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where you don’t have to explain everything perfectly or have it all figured out.
